Home about me my games projects

So, this is where I will be putting any logs for physical projects I invest my time into.

radio:

I used the files and instructions from: this video.

I first made a wimpy attempt at this scaled down and it, of course failed, I did not not even use the right earpeice, but after some rethinking and finally finding the video I continued to get the right wire for the coil but I just very recently realized I don't get good AM signal where I am

Meshtastic:

I am currently messing with Meshtastic devices using these videos as a guide.

I now have a thingiverse page for the cases I designed (which I'm planning to revise)

Ham Radio:

So I currently have a Quansheng uv k5(8) I got a license to transmit using this playlist as a guide. It's a really cool hobby

Computer Shenanigans:

Semi recently I was given an old dell latitude E6400, (which by the way is a great computer) and to avoid bypassing the password I learned how tomake bootable usb devices using rufus (which is a great tool for making drives for installing an OS on a computer). So I downloaded a Windows 7 Ultimate iso and excitedly installed windows 7 on the E6400 and it ran great. then I became curious about Linux, so I installed Fedora (a great OS btw) and had a blast learning to use Linux. Then I got a Chromebook with a broken screen and an HDMI port. All the top chassis contains is the wifi antenna and the camera (besides of course the screen) so I re-routed the wifi antenna into the main chassis and decided I didn't need the camera and took away the top half entirely so that left me with what my friend and I have dubbed a Chromepage (as opposed to book) with a keyboard, mousepad, and the ability to connect to an external display. So I used a guide from MrChromebox.tech (an amazing chromebook cracking resource) to install a UEFI Firmware on the chromepage and once again installed Fedora (which ran quite poorly).

I apologize to all of the nonexistent patrons of this site for my lack of updates, I have been busy and unmotivated, but I'm making revisions and updates
